BOLSHEVIK '99 brings together the story of two war-weary resistance members, stationed in France and Poland in 1940 during the height of World War 2. In the hopeless quiet spells between guerilla fighting, miles apart from each other, they both imagine the same thing; the world in half a century, unchanged; red banners hanging from every street corner and the stamping of boots on every staircase. Unable to imagine victory, they both come to the same conclusion - it is 1999, and the war is still on...
